Le sapin de Noël 2023 – Christmas tree 2023

Il est enfin arrivé : notre sapin de Noël est installé et bien décoré. Toutes les petites mains des matelots de La Caravelle ont participé à l’égayer.

Pour être dans l’ambiance, la musique de Noël nous accompagne, les lumières sont tamisées et nous appelons petit à petit les enfants afin de choisir dans le calme l’objet qu’ils préfèrent. Comme à La Caravelle nous respectons le rythme et les capacités de chacun, nous demandons aux enfants plus âgés d’attendre leur tour et de laisser les plus jeunes le faire d’abord. Tout le monde applaudie le travail participatif à la fin.

It’s finally here: our Christmas tree is up and well decorated. All the little hands of La Caravelle’s sailors have helped to brighten it up.

To get into the spirit, we play Christmas music, dim the lights and gradually call on the children to quietly choose their favourite object. As at La Caravelle we respect everyone’s pace and abilities, so we ask the older children to wait their turn and let the younger ones do it first. Everyone applauds the participatory work at the end.
